Tirol Wool

Tyrolean mountain sheep spend their summers feeding on the best grasses between the Kitzbühel Alps, the Oetztal Alps and the Zillertal Alps at 2000 meters above sea level. The healthy air, the abundance of food, and the fresh water flowing from the Tyrolean mountains greatly affect the health of the animals.

When the grazing season is over, these sheep are housed in the best barns built according to special standards. The shearing of these sheep occurs twice a year with an interval of six months. The first is done in the barns during the winter season, while the second is done in the meadows towards the end of the summer. As a result of taking good care of the animals, a wool of high quality, long, slightly wavy, is both very strong and soft in character.
